Catherine A. Taschner

Catherine A. Taschner is an associate in the transactional department of M4, where she concentrates her practice on complex real estate transactions with an emphasis on acquisitions, dispositions, development, commercial financing, land use and entitlements, and corporate and securities law.

Ms. Taschner is the Co-Founder and Vice President of the Business Law Corps, a non-profit organization that provides pro bono legal services to Hawaii's small business owners and entrepreneurs. She has been recognized by the Hawaii State Bar Association (HSBA), the Hawaii Access to Justice Commission, the Hawaii State Legislature, and the United States Small Business Administration for her volunteer work with the Business Law Corps.

Ms. Taschner is committed to community service, and currently serves as the M4 pro bono coordinator, as a committee member of the Hawaii Access to Justice Commission, and as an arbitrator in the Court Annexed Arbitration Program. She previously served as the Secretary of the Young Lawyers' Division of the HSBA, and was selected as a fellow in the HSBA Leadership Institute.

Ms. Taschner has been annually recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers since 2015, and was recently named to Pacific Business News' 40 Under 40 Class of 2017, an annual ranking of the most influential young people in business in the State of Hawaii.

Ms. Taschner is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of Hawaii, the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii, and the United States Tax Court.
