Kimberly K. Asano
Kimberly Asano’s practice areas focus primarily on commercial and real estate litigation.
Born and raised in Honolulu, Ms. Asano obtained her B.A. with distinction from the University of Hawaii, and received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawaii, where she served as Outside Articles Editor of the law review and co-authored a Note that was published in the UH Law Review. During law school, Ms. Asano externed with the Honorable Steven H. Levinson of the Hawaii Supreme Court, the Honorable J. Michael Seabright of the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii, and the Honorable Richard R. Clifton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Prior to joining McCorriston Miller Mukai MacKinnon LLP in 2010, Ms. Asano clerked for the Honorable Craig H. Nakamura of the Intermediate Court of Appeals, State of Hawaii.
Ms. Asano is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before all Hawaii courts and the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii.
