Lorraine H. Akiba

Lorraine H. Akiba is a Partner in the Litigation practice group at the firm and has represented clients in complex commercial litigation matters. Her practice areas include commercial, real estate and business litigation, healthcare law, environmental and natural resources law, construction litigation and government relations.
Ms. Akiba is recognized by Chambers USA as one of America’s Leading Lawyers for Business (2007 to present) and in Marquis Who’s Who in American Law (2005-present). She was awarded the Outstanding Lawyer Award by Hawaii Women Lawyers in 1990.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Akiba was the State of Hawaii Director of Labor and Industrial Relations from 1995-2000.
