Catherine A. Taschner is an attorney in the transactional department of M4, where she concentrates her practice on complex real estate transactions with an emphasis on acquisitions, dispositions, development, commercial financing, land use and entitlements, and corporate and securities law. Ms. Taschner serves as the M4 Pro Bono Coordinator, and sits on the M4 Marketing Committee.

Ms. Taschner is the Co-Founder and Vice President of the Business Law Corps, a non-profit organization that provides pro bono legal services to Hawaii's small business owners and entrepreneurs. She has been recognized by the Hawaii State Legislature, the Hawaii State Bar Association, the Hawaii Access to Justice Commission, and the United States Small Business Administration for her volunteer work with the Business Law Corps. Other community involvement includes serving as a court-appointed arbitrator, as a committee member of the Hawaii Access to Justice Commission, and as the co-coach for the inaugural Transactional Law Meet student team at the William S. Richardson School of Law. Ms. Taschner is also a current board member of Montessori Community School, the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Hawaii, the Hawaii Public Health Institute, and the Aloha United Way Society of Young Leaders.

Ms. Taschner has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers since 2015, and was named to Pacific Business News' 40 Under 40 Class of 2017, an annual ranking of the most influential young people in business in the State of Hawaii.
