Stewart Pressman is a partner practicing in the corporate department and concentrating in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions, private equity fund formation, private equity and securities law, and general corporate and business organization matters.

His practice in the mergers and acquisitions area is focused on complex transactions representing both purchasers and sellers in a wide range of publicly and privately held company acquisitions and divestitures, as well as takeover transactions. Stewart’s practice in the venture capital arena involves representation of private equity and fund organizers, fund investors, and private equity portfolio and emerging growth companies, counseling such clients in all aspects of formation and organization, debt and equity financing, including private placements and public offerings of securities, and strategies for ultimate exit transactions.

Stewart is currently named as one of America’s Leading Lawyers for Business by Chambers USA in the area of corporate law, and has also been selected by The Best Lawyers in America® and Honolulu Magazine in the areas of Mergers & Acquisitions Law and Corporate Law.
