Alexys T. Delgado

Associate

Alexys Teiler Delgado is an associate in the firm’s litigation department. She first joined the firm as a summer associate in 2023, returned for a second summer in 2024, and officially joined the firm as a full-time associate in 2025.

Alexys earned her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa William S. Richardson School of law in 2025. During her time in law school, Alexys served as the Co-Editor-in-Chief for Volume 47 of the University of Hawai‘i Law Review and received multiple CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for achieving the highest grade in Lawyering Fundamentals II (Legal Writing), Legal Research, and Law & Psychology. Alexys also worked as a Research Assistant and Advanced Criminal Law Scholar for Professor Justin D. Levinson, concentrating on issues of implicit racial bias in the criminal justice system and capital punishment decisions. She further served as a teaching assistant for Torts and Criminal Law courses and completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Judge Rowena A. Somerville of the Circuit Court of the First Circuit, State of Hawai‘i.

Born on the island of Guam and raised in California’s Mojave Desert, Alexys is a proud graduate of Barstow High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with Honors, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine.

Beyond her professional work, Alexys enjoys taking on new hobbies, expanding her knowledge of the Star Wars universe, rewatching Gilmore Girls, and spending time with her family.
