Kamrie Koi

Associate

Kamrie Koi is an associate in the firm’s litigation department. Her practice includes complex civil litigation, insurance defense, construction litigation, and commercial litigation.

Born and raised on Hawaiʻi island, Kamrie graduated from Kaʻū High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Administration of Justice from the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo. Kamrie graduated from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, William S. Richardson School of Law (“Richardson”) in 2021. During her time at Richardson, Kamrie received the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for achieving the highest grade in four classes. Kamrie served as Editor-in-Chief for Richardson’s Asian-Pacific Law and Policy Journal, a Research Assistant for Professor Cory Lenz, and a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research classes and Legal Writing (Lawyering Fundamentals) classes.

Prior to joining the firm, Kamrie served as a Law Clerk for one year with the Honorable Henry Nakamoto of the Third Circuit Court of the State of Hawaiʻi, and as a Law Clerk for one year with the Honorable James H. Ashford of the First Circuit Court of the State of Hawaiʻi.
